Veronika Yakobchuk (she/her) is an interdisciplinary graphic designer and researcher, born in Ukraine and currently practising in London, United Kingdom.

With over seven years of experience, I work at the intersection of branding, publishing, exhibition design, and digital media. My practice explores how emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, reshape intimacy, presence, and perception. Through multimedia formats and speculative design, I examine themes of emotional datafication, time, isolation, and constant surveillance. Interdisciplinary methods and psychoanalytic thought are central to my practice, serving as tools for reflecting on what it means to be seen, heard, or replaced by technology.

I draw inspiration from cinema, photography, modern art, philosophy, and other disciplines. For me, design is about balancing aesthetics with meaning, creating work that not only evokes emotion but also addresses real needs.

Central Saint Martins
Graduation Show 2025
I collaborated with Kismat Shrees, a fellow student at Central Saint Martins, on a visual identity proposal for the CSM Graduation Show 2025. Our project, An Act of Transformation, was awarded second place out of 20 design teams.
Rooted in minimalism and intentional design, our identity system reflects the creative evolution of CSM students through three key themes: transformation, fidelity, and celebration. Using animated shapes, pixelation, grain, and colour, we visualised the non-linear journey from experimentation to clarity, culminating in a vibrant expression of growth and achievement.
The system is designed to be flexible and generative, adaptable across both digital and print formats. We incorporated Riso textures to reflect CSM’s sustainable values and employed accessible typefaces, such as Funnel and Telegraf, to enhance clarity and approachability.
This identity is more than a design — it’s a living, evolving system that captures the diversity, energy, and fluid nature of the CSM community in 2025.
