With over seven years of experience, I work at the intersection of branding, publishing, exhibition design, and digital media. My practice explores how emerging technologies, especially artificial intelligence, reshape intimacy, presence, and perception. Through multimedia formats and speculative design, I examine themes of emotional datafication, time, isolation, and constant surveillance. Interdisciplinary methods and psychoanalytic thought are central to my practice, serving as tools for reflecting on what it means to be seen, heard, or replaced by technology.
I draw inspiration from cinema, photography, modern art, philosophy, and other disciplines. For me, design is about balancing aesthetics with meaning, creating work that not only evokes emotion but also addresses real needs.
As an immigrant, I’ve experienced the fear of being misunderstood and the unsettling feeling of losing meaning in everyday conversations. Words I once trusted became noise in an unfamiliar language, stripped of their power and significance.
Inspired by Lina Kostenko’s poem, “Words terrify when they remain unspoken,” this project explores how our native language carries emotional weight, while foreign languages can leave us feeling voiceless.
The Silent Words is a guide designed to help non-native speakers engage with Ukrainian poetry. By incorporating transliteration under each visual element, the project makes it possible for anyone to read and connect with the words. Central to the narrative is the mouth—a symbol of how we instinctively focus on lips when trying to understand an unfamiliar language. This visual bridge allows silent words to regain their meaning and foster connection.
